From friends to business partners, Naomi Bancroft and Tawny Fye have developed a top of the line horse and cattle operation. Setting Sun Ranch LLC is serious about the importance of honesty, hard work and high standards. Developing a horse training and custom cattle feeding business in rural Stratton, CO has been a true labor of love. 

Naomi Bancroft
With unwavering dedication to their founding principles, Naomi Bancroft has become a force in both local and national level cow horse competition. Known for her ability to get a job done horseback, Bancroft has utilized this methodology into producing multiple high level show horses in addition to numerous outside using horses. Breaking out on the horse show scene in 2011, Naomi has not looked back. Winning the Colorado Reined Cow Horse Association Year End Limited Open Hackamore, NRCHA Hackamore Classic Reserve Champion, NRCHA Year End Limited Open Bridle CHAMPION, and a two-time NRCHA World’s Greatest Horseman contender. Bancroft is well on her way inside the competition arena, but never forgets her ranching roots. 

Tawny Fye
Clever, quick witted and ever ready to brighten your day, Tawny Fye focuses on the cattle side of Setting Sun Ranch, LLC. When Tawny is not brokering cattle deals, doctoring yearlings, or in the middle of calving season you will find her at her leather bench. Fye also works at most of the National Reined Cow Horse Association major events including the NRCHA Stallion Stakes, NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, and NRCHA Celebration of Champions/World’s Greatest Horseman. An active member of the Colorado Reined Cow Horse Association, you can often times find her working the gate and checking equipment.
